Automating Processes. Securing Data.

“Tastes great! Less filling!”

That 1987 advertising campaign condensed the advantages of Miller Lite beer down to four short words. If I had to choose just four words to define the advantages of Information Technology (IT), I’d say “Automating Processes. Securing Data.”

With all of the talk about hacking and data breaches, data security is (and should be) top of mind for your network system. However, it’s important not to forget the original advantage of integrating IT into your business: to improve the processes that help you deliver your products and/or services to your customers. Automating your processes should improve customer service, increase your employees’ job satisfaction, reduce overhead costs, and make you more competitive.

IT has two roles: automating processes AND securing your data. It’s very easy to relegate technology to the tasks that it has historically managed, but it’s important to stay abreast of what’s going on in your industry with regards to improving automation. In order to stay competitive, you need to regularly review what technology can do for you. At NetCenergy, we see that as part of our job. Our eNCompass program goes beyond just data security. We meet with our clients regularly to review business goals and objectives, acting as consultants who understand your industry and your organization to assist in driving technology utilization to improve performance.
